The Drum and Lyre Corps, Championship title was brought home by the San Felipe Elementary School (West) with a percentage of 96. 83% last Dinamulag Festival Celebration held on April 28, 2023, at Iba Sports Complex, Iba, Zambales.

The competition was joined by 12 districts of the province, and all representatives showed mastery in performing their drum and lyre drill. The SFESW DLC exhibition theme was focused on Makabayan songs as it depicts the patriotic and nationalistic characteristics of Filipinos. The musical piece includes Piliin mo ang Pilipinas, Tayo’y mga Pinoy, Bayan Ko, and the theme song of Dinamulag Festival, Sulong Zambales, which catches the heart of the judges and fellow Zambaleno.

SFESW’s coach, Mr. Jonathan Libut, Teacher-Coaches, Ma’am Lalyn F. Espiritu, Ma’am Collene Mae Labrador, and Sir Neil Ablian, congratulate the learners for their commendable performance and dedication.

The principal of the SFESW, Ma’am Merilyn D. Reguindin, extended her gratitude to the Provincial Governor, Hon. Hermogenes E. Ebdane, Jr., committee and organizer of the Dinamulag Festival Drum and Lyre Competition 2023, Hon. Mayor Reinhard Jeresano and his council, and to all the people who made things possible to brought out the best in the learners in terms of drum and lyre skills.
